Education at home...

My boys love to sit at the computer and play on PBSKids. Their favorite games are on Caillou's site. They get to pretend they are palaeontologists. They love to dig for Dinosaurs. This week I spent two days on the couch battling a nasty head cold. Like most suffering parents I let my boys play for hours. By Wednesday afternoon I was feeling good enough to sit up and watch the boys play. They were dying to get out of the house, and the weather was cooperating, so I opened the house up and let them play outside while I watched them thru the window. They found sticks, and a gardening tool, a few paint brushes and went to town digging for dinosaurs. I had such a blast watching them and listening to my little explorers. The future bone diggers...

I love that their play developed from a computer game! So cool the impact for good technology can have on kids!
