A week full of activity

This week has been a busy week... In a nut shell

Not so good...
-Rainey cut his second tooth (all nighters, lots of screaming, and snotty runny nose, diarrhea, mom gets no sleep)
-the kids have the Flu
-Liza threw up in the pool during her swim lesson

So good..
-pumpkin carving and Eliza actually touched pumpkin guts w/o puking, she got close to throwing up so we had to give her a spoon but she was with us till the end
-Jake was inducted into the Lambada Pi Eta chapter (speech honors society type thingy)
-church Halloween Carnival
-trick or treating
-Jake had to jump into the freezing cold Logan River (a group beat the record for river crossing as part of the army training) and we were on hand to witness it
-Rainey had his first horse ride (Liza took him for a ride during her lesson), he loved it
-Daniel got the horse to trot during his turn on the horse
-We were in the local Cache Valley Magazine (an article on military families)

Sounds like a wonderful Halloween week for the most part. I didn't know that Eliza was that quesy. What did they do about the throw up in the pool.

I love how much attention you are getting for being a military family. I bet that is really new to you guys since you have always been in military communities before. Now you are really standing out. I think it is awesome.

they ended lessons early and kicked everyone out to clean it before the next group started. How they cleaned it out? I don't know I was tending to my sick little girl.

Jake is the public affairs liason for the army ROTC. He has to deal with the papers and reporters who want to learn more and contact the program. Jake loves it. It has certainly given us some new friends.

The look on Rainey's face is priceless. Wish all our family was closer so that we could all participate in these events together.

No way! We're staying this far away on purpose. You Canadianaians are a bad influence on us Amricans

us Canadians a bad influence, i think it is you Americans that are the bad influence, so don't give me that. Wait a minute, you are the one that is married to a Canadian:P

That's exactly why he said we are bad influences...I could come with a few good things a certain Canadian has done in his life...

Yeah Jake I am totally on the Canadian side of this argument even though I am American. Rainey looks so old now. He is so cute.
