Distractions...
I had a morning full of projects planned. I have bread rising on the counter, went for a nice long walk, and then decided to play with the boys. We did sprints on the drive way a few times, then lunges up and down the driveway, then I was about to go inside and to finish my latest barrette order, start my Halloween quilt and clean up the mess I made with the bread dough, instead I stayed out side to play with the boys, and avoid all responsibilities. The boys have a new favorite sport- Soccer! I won't tell one of them he is kicking a basketball until I can find another soccer ball :) What do you know it is lunch time and nap time now OOPS! Where has the day gone. It feels good to be a little distracted by the ones I love. This is Jake's latest addition to the playground our yard has turned into. A Soccer goal.

I love getting distracted by the "little things" in my life ;)
Days like that are great. I have been known to be a little crazy about keeping my house clean, but not as of late! I would way rather be out and about playing with Gavin. Maybe it's because I know we're going to trapped inside soon hybernating through the winter.
Soccer is for weinies i may have to send a football... please get daniel into a contact sport... if hes going to drive a truck he has to play a contact sport...-Brandon
are you forgetting Brandon??!! Everything is a contact sport with Daniel. But that is a good idea for Christmas this year. I will have to get him a football.
You will NOT be buying the boy a football for Christmas. Brandon already offered. Besides dear, you know it makes more sense to get everyone else in the family protective pads and helmets. He already causes enough destruction/pain without it being under the guise of "orgranized" sports.
