9-11

We just started our morning with our annual routine. Over breakfast we watched the news clips from that morning 7years ago and discussed with the kids what happened and how it has changed our lives.

My heart aches for those who lost that day, those who experienced that destruction first hand, and those who have had to sacrifice the time and lives of loved ones fighting for our country since.

I have been blessed. I knew no one in the trade centers or in the pentagon. I have not known anyone how has died serving in the military while serving in this War. Today, I am especially mindful of those who have lost, and grateful for my freedom.
