Guilt-the Silver bullet

We just spent way too much money! I am way excited but have an awful sense of guilt. I hope this is a normal feeling...
It feels good to put the kids in the car and not have to pull the car seat out to buckle Liza and Daniel's seat belts then push them back in so we can close the doors. We actually had to take a tape measure to assure the fit of Daniel's new car seat in the Focus. Now we have room for all and then some in our Honda Odyssey. It is going to take some serious studying to understand all the gadgets on the new van, the Silver Bullet (the kids named it to match the Red Rocket-our Ford). I can't figure out all the safety features and the extras. It took me ten minutes to get the neighbour kids out yesterday- you have to be in park to open the side doors. It was quite the ordeal, we thought Sliver Bullet wasn't going to give us back our kids...

AWESOME! That is a good use of your money. We are buying a van this week also (I know we are about 2 months late). Of course it will be used and cheap, but I don't care, it will be nice to all fit in one car again. :)
Congrats on becoming a minivan Mom. All our dreams are coming true.

Were you really worried about the Silver Bullet eating your kids or was that for the rest of the world. I am sure there was some cheering before and some disappointment after the van decided it was going to let them out. You have to remember I know your kids and their parents well.

I guess you are now a member of the perfect mormon family...You have a mini-van!!! HAHA I will admit, some days I think it would be easier to have more room...then I think to myself, "Self, you like driving places most cars won't let you...why would you humiliate yourself!?!?" Jokes! Way to go big sis., it was about time!

I love our van...always said we would never ever drive one but I wouldn't trade it now. Maybe when the kids get a bit bigger we'll got to an SUV but right now the van is where it's at.
