Turkey week

It has been a busy busy week. We started by Celebrating Liza's fifth birthday. She spent the day opening presents, eating cupcakes, eating pizza at the Olive garden (here favorite meal) and spending the evening with her best friend George (Leslie's pet, one of the cadets at daddy's school).

On Turkey day Daddy and Liza got up way early and drove down to Cottonwood Heights, Utah, just south of Salt Lake (a tradition Jake wants to start with the kids). They ran the Turkey day 5K. Liza made it most of the way through. Jake said he had to carry her the 100m then she spotted a dog and wanted down again. They had a blast and got cool yellow shirts in the deal. Liza never wants to do it again but wants more cool shirts. What a trooper!

Old friends of ours came up from NV to visit family for the holidays. So we met up with them in Provo and spent an evening of fun with them. This is our two families. They have five foster kids (brave souls). The kids were instant friends and Liza was sad to see them leave. We haven't seen Isaac since our wedding. It was good to catch up on old times and enjoy good friends. We hope to meet up with them again in the new year some time. Thanks for making time for us Isaac, and Alyssa.
I hope all had a fabulous weekend with family, friends, and food! We are grateful for our many blessings!

Jake is grateful for Jesus and the power of prayer and inspiration
Chrissy is grateful for the mountains, family, chocolate, and knowledge of the gospel
Liza is grateful for George (the Lizard), Ms Leslie, Church and Rooster (the horse she rides)
Daniel is grateful for his sucky (pacifier), balloons, his daddy being around and animals

HAPPY TURKEY DAY WEEKEND!!

That is great that Jake and Eliza went on the run, I always thought that would be fun to do.
