not much to blog about...

My husband has inherited his fathers interest in politics and learning. J is extremely concerned for the economy, extremely interested in the Islam religion devouring all the info he can, and has his own opinions of political happenings which he can't voice too loudly due to his career. So I being the blessed woman I am listen patiently to all he has learned each day about the economy, the new President, or whatever book he has been studying this week and hope he doesn't work himself up to much on whatever the topic of the evening is.

So as you can see there really isn't that much to blog about in our home these days...Here are a few moments from our past few weeks.Liza's was part of the Rise and Shine assembly the have every Monday at school. The first graders were in charge this week and did a super job telling jokes that were part of a book they read. They each had a small part to memorize and Liza did an awesome job, she spoke so clearly and loudly. She has her dads ability to memorize things quickly and no fear for crowds. The boys have decided they are officially done with winter and lucky for them the weather has some what cooperated with them the past few days. They have been out playing in the yard, and today was nice enough I took them out to the park. I love watching them play! They really do get along so well. I have two of the best boys around! As I began to upload the pictures form our camera I realized there is one more thing to blog about! Liza had an ear infection two weekends ago and her ear was really bothering her. So to distract her from the pain we made heat bags. (I wanted to fill them with rice they chose beans. For future reference beans stink when heated and reheated a million times in a day. Rice is much nicer. We added a few spices and tea bags to make them smell nice.) It was the kids first experience sewing. Liza did her very own bag 100%. Daniel operated the foot petal-thank goodness I have quick reflexes :P and Rainey sat on my lap as I sewed his and watched. It was a fun Saturday afternoon project.

Good for Liza sewing that up! I'm sure she did a great job with that teacher of hers helping her out. You are so patient that way.

I didn't need to do a thing. A quick demo and she was off. I should post a picture of the finished project. Notice I was off on the other side of the kitchen table no where near what she was doing, and I might add my machine still works! Better than i could say the few times I used my moms machine!

I love the second picture! The outfit is even co-ordinated with the nature! haha. Sounds like you had a good week. Ours was uneventful as well but I figure that's probably a good thing.

Ohh, I love the sewing project. Sewing is a craft that I have always wanted to do, but haven't braved it yet.

Now, back to the weight loss blog. Congrats!! You look wonderful, and are giving me inspiration. I am the same size you started at. Now what I need from you are some of your favorite snacks. I know you commented on my blog about shakes, but tell me more. I think a whole post on it would be Great!! :)
