Man of my Years

What a whirl wind week!!

It was Jake's birthday on Tuesday. We were all quite busy so we celebrated by going out for Jake's favorite- Japanese food. He spent his evening just spending floor time with the kids, wrestling, tickling, reading books, and receiving/giving lots of attention. He kept telling the kids they were his best birthday present which really made an impression on Liza.Saturday we managed to pull off our second annual Cache Valley Salute 5K We managed to raise money for Common Ground this year. We were short a few runners (30) over last year but we were also competing with two other runs on campus and the same time and the Salt Lake Marathon. Great job Jake!! Check out the photos on Monday on the CVS web page. Last night to add to it all was USU's Robin's awards Jake was nominated along with five other men for "USU's Men of the Year" They put on an excellent night. It was beautiful! JAKE WON! I am married to the 2008 Man of the Year. I knew he was a good catch....

True to military form he got down and pushed while the audience counted. I love the tie in this photo (thanks Di for taking photos). Now the countdown is on for Graduation and Commissioning the first weekend of May, our last visit with both of our parents before we move, and a trip to OK to go house hunting. Our time is growing too short.

Way to go "Man of the Year" that is very cool. And I love the push ups, I am sure people were quite impressed with that.
Chrissy you are looking fab girl! It must be all that bike riding. I am excited for you guys to go to OK. Maybe it is just because I am excited to move. :)

Hey girl,
Wes is on the promotion list. This unit here is horrible. Seriously the worst yet! Wes should be getting his school date soon. Then we are off again to who knows where. He is on the promotion list right now. He hasn;t gone to the board though. This unit is slow at everything or they lose paperwork. Wes has done his security clearance paperwork THREE times now. These people are driving me crazy. Wow 10 lbs to go that is awesome!! I have joined Curves and have been going three times a week. I am trying to get to my pre-marriage weight too. See what the kids and hubby does to us! LOL I hope we meet up at some point again!

Sarah- I hope we do meet up again too. With two the same age (should have been three) the kid would have a blast while we get caught up on things.

Stephanie- Yes I did (when I picked the kids up in Canada). I love my new hair. It is so easy and I don't have to do it every day if I don't want to. Now I just need to find someone to cut it the same way here. It is almost time for a trim.
