Canadian Vacation Part 1

Earlier this month Jake spent eight days in the DC area on a military history class. We gave him a day to wash clothes and repack, then headed north. Ten days of Grandma and Papa Hovan time.
We had plans to visit all the sites but due to poor weather, and too much fun with grandma and Papa we
stayed pretty local. However we did see some sites and learned about many new things. The first of the week we hit the Carriage House in Cardston and the Cardston Temple.

Daniel and Jake went on a carriage ride while Liza, Rainey, Auntie Di and I learned about all the old ways of transportation and how they evolved to the cars we have now. We saw how the shoe a horse and bought some old style candy "sponge toffee". It was a good day.
